With just two weeks to go till the deadline for the 2023 short story contest, we have opened the submissions form so folks can send us their entries. The final stretch is here!

To access this page, you must be logged in as a member, so do sign up for an account if you haven’t already. You’ll find the form under the contest portal in the main menu.

Remember that to be eligible to enter, you must be a full Spectrum member (ie. to have attended at least 2 critique meetings, whether online or in-person), and for at least one of those to have been in the last 12 months. We’ll also accept entries from members of active novel track groups who may not have attended a critique meeting recently, but are still engaged with the group.

A full breakdown of the eligibility and submission rules can be found in the contest portal (accessible to members only). Most importantly, remember to format your story correctly, and to remove all identifying information from your document.
