Author Notes:

This is my horror short story, which I wrote under the brief ‘fear of abandonment x psychological horror’. Most of the trigger warnings listed happen off-page but are things referenced and/or things that you see the after-effects of in the story.

The things I would like especially to know are:
– Does the pacing work or is it too slow to start?
– Do you feel the connection between the characters?
– Is the setting described in enough detail?
– Does the story as a whole make cohesive sense?
