Is there too much exposition of setting up this dystopian world and not enough narrative drive? My biggest fear is that it’s boring. Is there too much purple prose? Should the “Mongers” part be removed? I’m thinking of rewriting the first few chapters entirely so let me know if they have any redeemable qualities
