A rough draft of a story. Some things that I’ve played with that I’m not sure really work, so views welcomed:
Voice
Use of present/past tense to distinguish present/past scenes
World building – is it sufficient to set the scene? Would it be better to stretch it out to a novella by fleshing it out and elaborating some of the story lines
Is there too much telling rather than showing
Does the ending land, is it too brief
